LeadWorthy is designed with relevant material to develop critical skills in secondary students.  Facilitating this class requires building strong relationships with students, teaching leadership development, character education, and so much more.

LeadWorthy is a course where students develop leadership, professional, and business skills. They learn to foster a healthy self-concept, healthy relationships, and learn to understand the concept of personal responsibility and social media's impact on image. Students will develop an understanding of Emotional Intelligence and the skills it measures, which include self-awareness, self-control, self-motivation, and social skills. Students also develop skills in public speaking and communication. They will have an understanding of the concept of principle-based decision-making and learn to make responsible financial decisions. In addition, students will develop an understanding of the effects of peer pressure, skills to counteract those effects, bullying prevention and defending skills, and problem-solving skills. Throughout the class, students will employ various technologies to support and empower them to take their skills to the next level. Students will acquire an understanding of the principles of parenting, enabling them to become better family members and citizens. As members of a community, students also develop leadership skills practiced in the form of community service. They will also develop an understanding of the need for vision in goal-setting, both personally and professionally.
