Curious about using playlists in your class? Wondering how this type of learning can  improve student engagement and achievement? In this session we will discuss and provide examples of playlist units and give practical tips for avoiding common pitfalls.

Give a definition of playlist model from educational literature
Group discussion of roadblocks and reasons teachers avoid using playlists
Why are playlists good for kids? Group discussion and sharing of personal experience and research
Give examples of playlists used in the classroom and strategies to address roadblocks as well as tips and tricks learned through experience
Feedback from participants on their experience and sharing of their ideas and experience
