Create their own Example Portfolio for students to refer to in creating their portfolios
Participants will be able to help students grow in the areas of Empowered Learner, Knowledge Constructor, and Creative Communicator. An emphasis will also be placed on using Google Sites as a tool to encourage and demonstrate growth.
The session will begin with an introduction to Google Sites and visual examples of how the platform has been utilized to create a professional portfolio. When portfolios are started as soon as students work through middle school and enter high school, they serve as a quality source for student data and growth. The portfolio is never permanent, and students can make modifications as their needs and goals change. Through this session, attendees will be provided the opportunity to observe the use of various tools, develop clear transitions and be supported in developing content specific sites.
